Workshops

Making wooden joints with hand tools for all levels: 1-day workshop, 3-day (Saturday) course or 6-evening course.

Using hand tools, we will make wooden joints. We connect different pieces of wood without using glue or screws. This method is inspired by centuries-old Japanese and European wood joining techniques.

The workshops are offered as a one-day workshop, a three-day course, and a six-day evening course. In each lesson, we go through the entire creative process: design, elaboration (marking, sawing straight with the Japanese pull saw, chopping and cutting with the chisel and hammer) and finishing in the form of breaking edges, sanding and oiling, staining or burning (if there is time).

The objects will be large enough to hold in one hand and will take on all kinds of shapes. The finished joineries make a beautiful object for in your home or to gift to someone you care for.

The workshops are accessible for people of all levels - from complete beginners to professional craftspeople.
